Si vous effectuez l'installation sur Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010, vous devez installer un des rôles suivants :
GFI MailSecurity ne peut être installé sur une machine avec Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 avec seulement des rôles de transport hub. En plus, le service IIS SMTP n'est pas requis parce qu'il intègre son propre serveur SMTP.
Si vous utilisez Small Business Server, Service Pack 2 for Exchange Server 2000 et Service Pack 1 for Exchange Server 2003 doivent être installés.
Retirez les répertoires de GFI MailSecurity de l'analyse anti-virale. Les logiciels antivirus ont la réputation d'interférer avec le fonctionnement normal et de ralentir tous les logiciels qui ont besoin d'accéder aux fichiers.
