GFI announce Small Business version
London, UK, 2nd November 1998 - GFI, leading developer of communications software, today launched their Small Business versions of FAXmaker for Networks and FAXmaker for SMTP, fax servers for Windows NT and Windows 95/98. Specially aimed at the smaller businesses, GFI are offering a FAXmaker version with 1 fax line only, which is more affordable for smaller companies than the standard 4 fax line version of FAXmaker.
Nick Galea, president of GFI: "Smaller companies often decide not to use PC faxing due to the high cost of fax servers. Therefore, we decided to release a special version for smaller businesses so that these companies can also afford to reap the benefits of desktop faxing."
The Small Business versions are available for FAXmaker for Networks 6.5, fax server with separate fax clients for Windows NT, 95/98 & Windows 3.1, and FAXmaker for SMTP 5.0, e-mail to fax gateway for SMTP/POP3 mail servers, such as MDaemon, NT mail, VPOP3 and Cmail. The versions come in 5 ($195), 10 ($295) and 25 ($ 595) users, and include 1 fax line which can be upgraded to more fax lines at a later date.
